Praise

Our Definition

a kink involving one or more parties who derive satisfaction from affirmations and positive appraisals of their actions by their partner(s). Common in both dominants and submissives.

Common Practices & Experiences

Everyone is different! You'll see this repeated throughout our website and glossary. Common praise kink practices include, but certainly aren't limited to:
  • Use of phrases such as “you are so good,” “you did an amazing job,” or “good girl/boy/pet/baby/etc”
  • Detailed verbal affirmations
  • Pets on the head
  • Rewards
  • Making your partner feel that you are proud of them or proud to be with them

Kaz loves it when their submissive partner tells them how good they make her feel or how much she loves what they are doing.

Terrell often gives his submissive partner affirmations such as “Good Baby” at the end of a scene.
